Family owned and operated for 49 years, Krause's Restaurant & Grove is a business truly built on love. In 1959 Krause's was started by Helen and Steve Krause, and gradually expanded their facilities, from a favorite picnic and swimming spot for families in the 50's, to a full-service restaurant and grove in the early 2000.  Helen & Steve's summer business was unsurpassed, with an outstanding reputation in food and hospitality. After the passing of Helen and Steve in the 90's, the famed river front property was purchased by Gail and Gary Krause in 1998. 

In 2006, the restaurant portion of the business was closed, as part of the beginning of Gail Krause's planned condominium project.

Gail and Gary Krause's continued love of the business and property brought the business to another level of success.
